ED wait times decreased

Waiting times in Emergency Departments (EDs) decreased in February compared to figures from January, according to the HSE Performance Report from Feburary 2011. The February waiting time dropped to an average of 6.2 hours from time of arrival to time of leaving the ED. The corresponding time for January 2011 was eight hours.
