Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

•To maintain the bank accounts for a number of entities, performing all related tasks such as payment allocations, reconciliations and postings, among other tasks.

•To provide updates and other ad hoc information to the relevant Financial Controllers/GL Accountants, as requested.

•To assist in administration tasks linked to the Accounts Receivable process such as sourcing of payment remittances.

•To perform ad hoc tasks related to the Bank & Cash function, such as bank account uploading and sorting of remittance advices.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

•Experience of 1/2 years in Cash Application/Accounts Receivable, preferably in a multinational/shared service environment.

•Ability to work under pressure and to hit targets.

•Ability to prioritise – there is a high volume of bank accounts, customer accounts and clearing accounts to be maintained.

•Ability to liaise with Finance, Customer Service, Sales staff, local country managers, Controllers in a professional manner.

•Experience in payment allocation/matching an advantage.

•Experience in SAP or other accounting packages desirable.

•Excellent communication skills, ability to negotiate with customers and to assess and analyse various customer account scenarios.

•Knowledge of full supply chain process an advantage.

•To be comfortable working in a team environment.

•Business/accounting qualification preferable but not essential.

•Fluency in a European language such as German, Italian or Spanish is a distinct advantage.
