About ACNE Dublin

ACNE Dublin is a unique creative practice where we develop world-class brand communications and digital brand experiences, under one roof. We help brands to figure out their story, and then we bring that story to life beautifully from identity, through ads and content, to UI and UX on websites and apps. We can do this because we have an eclectic creative team ourselves, and because we have access to an incredible line-up of specialists in Deloitte Digital and Deloitte, and in nine other ACNE offices across Europe. This is an unusual and exciting creative agency – and we need a different kind of creative to make it work. Which is where you come in!

About you

We’re looking for senior (5+ years’ experience) and junior (2+ years’ experience) digital designers / digital art directors. Candidates will have conceptual skills, creative design skills, experience in bringing brand stories to life through digital channels, and a strong understanding of and experience in UI/UX and digital product design. We are open to people with different mixes of the above skills.

With us you will…

  • Help the team to imagine, deliver and run outstanding work for our clients, effecting change with ideas, craft and the use of interactive media.
  • Maintain and evolve a client’s design system, ensuring a consistent visual language especially across digital touchpoints, staying ahead of industry trends and elevating the client’s brand.
  • Work with and contribute to UX thinking, pushing to improve and enhance everybody’s experience of a client’s brand.
  • Inspire the client with innovative ways of approaching complex challenges.
  • Support your colleagues in the ideation, creation and delivery of digital content and social assets.
  • Take ownership of your work and your responsibilities, delivering what you promise, communicating well.
  • Nurture your relationships within ACNE Dublin, within Deloitte Digital, and with our network around the world.
  • Care about accuracy and attention to detail, in everything you do.
  • Learn new skills and stay abreast of creative, technical and digital design developments and successfully apply these to work practices to help improve our work.
  • Participate energetically in pitches and proposals.
  • Take responsibility for asset management, collation and archiving.
  • Be comfortable presenting ideas and work to your clients and your colleagues.

Before us, you have…

  • Experience working in a creative agency environment as an art director or a designer.
  • A strong understanding of and love of brands and their visual impact on culture.
  • An exciting portfolio of work that shows your talent for creating exceptional brand communications and brand digital experiences.
  • A degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Studies or other design-related fields is preferred.
  • Experience with Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud (Motion Graphics a plus).
  • Experience creating or refreshing a brand identity.
  • Ability to work across a variety of formats, platforms and environments including logos, visual identities, apps and websites, out of home media, social media, physical environments and more.
  • A love of and grasp of branding and brand strategy.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to share your creative ideas and your work.
  • Understanding of digital design systems, design processes and front-end implementation.
  • A solid grasp of design fundamentals including: typography, illustration and animation.
