Our Global Device Development organisation is focused on the design, development and commercialisation of a diverse portfolio of device technology solutions to enable delivery for our large and growing generic and branded products around the globe. We develop device technologies to enable drug-delivery for respiratory, biologic, biosimilar and injectable products, and work across Viatris to support innovative technology solutions to provide healthcare solutions for our patients. We operate from 4 sites: Dublin, Ireland, Cambridge & Sandwich, UK and Southpointe, Pittsburgh, USA. Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Work cross-functionally in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the deliverables of the project are met.
  • Track project deliverables to the project schedule and identify when/if any are at risk of being off-track.
  • Work with project team to define prioritisation of tasks aligned with the project plan.
  • Identify changes that may impact project plan and communicate to the team.
  • Stakeholder and communications management
  • Plan & schedule meetings and associated agendas.
  • Report project status against deliverables to management.
  • Ensure that communications/requests are responded to promptly and followed up, as appropriate.
  • Support maintenance of tracking system for actual costs, accruals and committed costs
  • Support procurement of supplies to meet project needs.
  • Contribute to business process improvements to advance the overall Global Device Development business.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Recent graduate in engineering, science and/or medical device related field of study
  • Demonstrated interest in Project Management through completion of elected Project Management classes, enrolment in other Project Management training courses or membership of Project management organisations.
  • A team player willing to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and respond effectively to rapidly changing business needs.
  • Excellent communicator; clear and concise in written and verbal communications.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who can multi-task and adapt to changing needs.
