Brand Manager – FMCG  Dublin

A long established manufacturer and supplier to the retail and food service sectors nationally and internationally requires an ambitious, energetic and capable Brand Manager to work along side supporting an experienced Head of Marketing. It’s probable you will have a primary degree and have completed a masters in Marketing or business and have amassed at least 2 years post qualification experience. You are ready for a new challenge and are looking to grow and develop in an environment where hard work, determination and dedication are recognised and rewarded.

Role purpose.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Brand Manager will support and implement Marketing plans and activities to grow the business in Ireland and Export markets.  

Duties:  

  • To help create and implement marketing and brand plans in line with company objectives 
  • To manage and forecast marketing budgets
  • To ensure the Marketing Programme is kept up to date and items are actioned in time
  • To liaise with design agencies on artwork projects for product packaging, brochures, flyers and POS within brand guidelines
  • Prepare and develop content, marketing assets and other promotional materials.
  • To manage promotions programmes through distribution channels, sales teams and to liaise with Production, Purchasing and other departments on promotion forecasts 
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s on line strategy including website, analytics, ezine and social media
  • Manage and update website and social content.
  • To liaise with research agencies on projects and undertake market research as required 
  • To work with New Product Development bringing products from concept to final product
  • To provide administrative support to the sales team and assist with the co-ordination of sales activities

Experience / Knowledge

  • 18-24 months post qualification experience in a marketing /branding role
  • IT literate, knowledge of the full Microsoft suit of products.
  • Knowledge of Adobe and other design software would be advantageous 
  • Digital, on-line and social media savvy
  • Experience with website management
  • An interest in food and new food trends
  • Experience with website management
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
