An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community & Corporate Fundraising Administrator to join our Fundraising Team in National Office. The purpose of this role is to support Conference centric fundraising, proactively engaging with Regions, Areas and Conferences, ensuring that they have the resources, materials and information that they needed to fundraise.

The post holder will also support corporate engagement and the development of corporate programme and strategy as well as administer the national CHY charity tax back programme for the Society.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Job holder should be educated to Leaving Certificate level, however an office administration /secretarial or computer course would be beneficial.
  • Educated to degree level in a marketing, communications or business area is essential desirable
  • CII Fundraising Diploma Cert desirable
  • Strong administration and database management experience required (essential)
  • Experience in similar role desirable
  • Experience of coordinating/ administering the CHY process desirable
  • Experience of community fundraising desirable
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills- essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and phone skills required- essential
  • Flexibility, innovation and initiative
  • Strong level of attention to detail
  • Good communication skills; verbal, written and face to face
  • The ability to juggle a wide range of activities and priorities own workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills and working experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
