Our client is a leading global management consultancy and they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cyber lead to join their team at Director Level. You will be working with their team of analysts, designers and engineers to deliver compelling security solutions to big name clients.

 Your key responsibilities

  • Day-to-day you will work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders on wide-ranging projects from analysis of growth opportunities to broader diagnostics of cyber/business challenges. You will build impactful yet simple reports to facilitate effective decision making both at a leadership level and within their sales community, and gain skills in cyber delivery as you grow within the Function.
  • Identify opportunities to grow your customer portfolio.
  • Take responsibility for driving revenue.
  • Partner with other parts of the business to identify cyber business opportunities, solve security problems, and deliver solutions.
  • Drive, manage and take ownership of team’s roadmap

Candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven track record of cyber delivery (engineering / managed services / GRC / incident response / pen testing / IAM, SOAR, etc.) and ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks to serve client needs
  • Lead business development and client pursuit efforts with a strong insight of the market and past sales record of having won new business and developed existing accounts
  • Stay abreast of cyber emerging business and industry trends relevant to our clients’ business
  • Effectively lead delivery of client engagements, including:
  • Managing and motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
  • Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
  • Manage expectations of client service delivery
  • Demonstrate expertise and in-depth cyber technical capabilities
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment and play an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants within the organisation
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new cyber technology, frameworks (NIST, DORA, etc.) and processes

As a Director, you will play a key role in the overall running and management of the Cyber competency; you will need to be able to provide examples of operational excellence, people management and ability to grow and develop teams.

Experience delivering Cyber projects / operating at a senior industry level

  • Experience in the implementation of market-leading Security Operations and Delivery teams across one or more business sectors
  • Knowledge of leading Cyber products and platforms
  • Experience with Cyber requirements elicitation techniques and onward delivery of requirements in work packages
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience working on agile projects
  • Incident Response experience
  • Ability to develop good working relationships, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence
