We are currently recruiting for a Engineer Graduate position. These are a 22-month, fixed-term contract roles

Main Duties:

  • Control of all plant engineering drawings including updating of facility, utility & equipment drawings following completion of projects.
  • Assisting CapEx manager with the tracking & forecasting of capital expenditure ensuring that yearly capital expenditure is tracked accurately. 
  • Ability to be able to Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve and set Controls, when it comes to working on improvement projects. 
  • Develop and implement change control documents as the need arises, understanding impact of actions to Manufacturing and Facilities equipment.
  • Provide guidance and develop engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment. Interact with and lead contractors executing engineering projects.
  • Supports project commissioning activities.
  • Installs new platform for managing Engineering project performance and timelines, and the ability to trace all changes for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Provides technical support with industrial projects where access to information from repository is required.
  • Prepare capital requests. Ensure that all purchasing activities are carried out in accordance with company purchasing policies. 
  • Design; quality, health & safety and environmental best practice into each project and ensure that all project work is completed in a safe and environmentally friendly manner

Education and Professional Experience

  • Degree in Engineering/Science minimum (Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Food science or equivalent) essential 
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, National Craft Certificate – Time Served Apprenticeship or relevant Automation / Mechatronics qualification, also accepted  
  • Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Pharmaceutical, an advantage not essential.
