Physiotherapy Graduates required for full-time permanent multi-disciplined roles working with the ageing population in the Dublin/Kildare/Wicklow areas.
 HealthcareDirect are now open to speaking to physiotherapy final year students about physiotherapy opportunities in these regions. You will commence your full-time role when you complete your course, are a full member of ISCP and fully registered with CORU. 

The role involves predominantly working with the geriatric population in the private retirement and nursing homes sector. You will receive ongoing clinical support and development from our Clinical Management Team.
 Overview of Role: 

  • Design and Development of focused individual care plans and group exercise sessions to maintain and improve quality of life for the resident community 
  • Setting outcome measures using research based functional and fitness assessments 
  • Providing ongoing one to one physiotherapy sessions to residents based on completion of initial baseline assessments 
  • Maintaining and updating individual resident records 
  • Working hand in hand with the home medical team to integrate physiotherapy as an integral part of the care plans 
  • Clients would include predominantly (but not exclusively) geriatrics with physical and mental pathologies, (stroke, – Alzheimer’s and related dementias) right through to able bodied and active ageing adults 

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Third Level Degree in Physiotherapy qualification 
  • Current member of ISCP and CORU membership is a must
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written 
  • This is an ideal position for recently qualified graduates with a genuine interest in working with the ageing population
  • Will require own transport
