Flogas Energy is one of Ireland’s fastest growing energy companies, supplying Electricity and Natural Gas to over 150,000 homes and businesses. Flogas Energy operates on an All-Ireland basis with offices in Drogheda, Derry and Belfast.

We are currently looking for a number of highly motivated results-orientated inside sales agents to join us in our Drogheda office to help us grow our residential and commercial customer base in the ROI through a programme of multi-channel sales and customer-retention campaigns and activities. This is a permanent opportunity.

We are looking for individuals who love to interact with customers, have excellent sales, business development and customer engagement experience and who want to bring their capabilities in this area to the next level.

Main areas of responsibilities

  • Outbound Sales & Retention calling to our residential and commercial market.
  • Renegotiating customer contracts digitally and over the phone.
  • Minimising Customer Churn by promoting our excellent product range.
  • Managing Inbound Customer Sales and Renewal calls.
  • Identifying and closing Cross Selling opportunities.
  • Re-engaging with and re-activating lost customer accounts.
  • Enhancing our Customer First culture through professional engagement.
  • Your flexibility to assist other sales areas of the company including supporting trade shows and events as required is essential.

Education:

  • 3rd Level Education is preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a similar role in energy, telecoms or financial services ideally.
  • Outbound phone-based Sales Experience is essential.

Role specific (technical) knowledge / skills:

  • Successful Candidate must by driven, ambitious & want their work to have a positive impact.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of digital sales and social selling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive self- motivated work ethic.
