Position

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support our Sales team. You will be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to identify and engage new business opportunities and convert to meetings.

The candidate must be comfortable with working across different time zones and working within a highly collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting outbound prospecting campaigns by phone, email, LinkedIn, Hubspot, and other outlets in order to identify opportunities that meet the qualification criteria for the sales team.

  • Responsible for conducting prospecting activities to identify business opportunities.

  • Responsible for identifying and building initial relationships with key decision-makers in target companies and to explain products and test types concisely to prospects through various communications channels.

  • Be able to manage a high volume of pipeline activities to maximise return

  • Remain informed of competitors activities, products and services offerings in the marketplace

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a lead generation/demand marketing specialist in a SaaS company or similar

  • The ideal candidate is a highly organised and motivated individual with experience in developing and executing short and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads into the sales pipeline

  • Working within a team of Sales professionals and collaborating with other departments, like sales to develop and enhance strategies

  • Knowledge of telecommunications networks is preferable but not essential

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and telephone, and be able to work/liaise with multiple departments

  • Excellent IT skills, Excel or other, ability to interpret data sets and work with data to make business decisions, previous experience with Hubspot or other CRM tools a must.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team, and be able to resolve problems creatively

  • Excellent research and organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Positive can-do attitude, good energy, and motivation to succeed
