Hotel software developer- AK Techotel is looking for a dynamic and independent Country Manager, with a background in hospitality, to run our Irish department managing sales, implementation and education of hotel staff.

Techotel is an experienced IT company with 42 employees that develops, sells and services digital reservation, checkout and CRM  systems for a range of hospitality businesses in Europe. Our main product; Picasso Digital is the world’s most automated Hotel System.

About you

You have a strong hotel background, possibly as a head receptionist, reception manager, front of house manager, revenue manager or hotel general manager. 

While operating independently, you will refer to the company’s group management as required.

You will be responsible for acquiring new customers in Ireland, for your staff, and for the day to day running of the Irish branch of Techotel. 

You will need to keep up to date with the industry by attending exhibitions, speaking to customers and dealing with current and future suppliers who work alongside you, and for you if required.

You should have:

  • A strong talent for sales and customer care as well as general great people-skills.
  • Background in, and knowledge of, Hotel, Conference and/or restaurant operations.
  • Can travel approximately 1-2 days a week.
  • Has a full driving licence
  • Basic IT knowledge
  • A strong Interest in learning about and teaching contemporary digital solutions for optimizing hotel operations.
