Purpose of the Role:

A National Model of Care for Paediatric and Neonatal Healthcare Services has been developed to describe how children should be cared for in acute and community settings. The National Model of Care explicitly supports the development of the new children’s hospital and an integrated national network for paediatrics, with strengthened and interconnected roles for local and regional paediatric units as well as approximately resourced community teams. The key element to the implementation of the National Model of Care is the establishment of managed clinical networks (MCN).

CHI Paediatric Network Programme has an exciting opportunity for an excellent Project Manager experienced in governance, quality assurance, reporting, risk management, resource and financial tracking across a suite of projects, programme or portfolio.

As the Paediatric Network Project Manager for Programme delivery you will provide programme delivery & PMO Support to a portfolio of complex projects and will manage programme delivery activity across the above work streams to support the Paediatric Network Programme in delivering to scope, schedule, budget and quality.

You will work alongside the Paediatric Network Lead and Paediatric Network Manager and be responsible for co-ordinating and directly managing as well as overseeing the day-to-day management of the Paediatric Network Programme. 

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant 3rd level degree/post-graduate qualification e.g. Management, Programme/Project Management, Health Management, Information Technology Management, Clinical/Medical, or related fields.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in a similar and relevant Project/Programme Management role – minimum of 2 years.
  • Project Management qualification/training or a track record in delivering in a similar and relevant Project/Programme Management role for a minimum period of 4 years.
