Cherrywood – Dublin

Here at Aviva Ireland, we are delighted to announce we currently have multiple Pension Administrator opportunities. These positions will report to one of our Pension Team Leaders and will take full ownership for the administration of a Pension portfolio.

The chosen post-holder(s) will work work closely with our administration partners and Financial Brokers to deliver first-class customer service – therefore we are keen to engage with proactive, organised individuals who have built up previous experience working in a Financial Services environment.

The role would suit you if you’re coming from a pensions administration background, or a Fund administrator background (particularly Transfer agency or middle-office operations). The role may also suit if you have experience in a customer service capacity in a Financial services organisation.

Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will be required to be based a commutable distance from our Dublin offices in Cherrywood – there will be a hybrid working arrangement when we all begin returning to the office next year.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Undertake various administration tasks, delivering an excellent service to our brokers, in connection with pension policies and subsequent cases

  • Effective management of work queues, ensuring prompt & accurate results

  • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally (i.e., our broker population), actioning any changes or amendments to pension policies as requested

  • Consistently demonstrate task ownership and a solution focused approach

  • Continually monitor and check that all Risk events have been properly recorded

  • Ensure we meet our obligations under Pensions Act & CPC

Skills & Experience required 

  • Prior experience working in Financial Services organisation in an administrative and/or customer service focused role

  • Prior pensions administration experience would be highly advantageous

  • Strong administration skills, demonstrating high quality work and accuracy at all times

  • Ability to work within tight timescales / deadlines and problem solve, going above & beyond for our customers and clients

  • Exercise excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High energy and passion for customer service and delivery
