Aviva are currently looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our Pension Claims team, in the ARF and Annuities area.

The role of the ARF and Annuities Team is to provide excellent service to internal and external customers on Aviva’s unit linked pension products. 

In 2020 Aviva introduced “Smart Working”. This gives you the freedom of a split between working from home and the office in Cherrywood.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administration of claims and payments from unit linked pension products, A(M)RFs and annuities.

  • Ability to respond to service demands of Brokers, Policy Owners, Annuitants etc.

  • Ability to build relationships with Brokers and Broker Consultants as well as own and other Teams to deliver service

  • Be responsible for ensuring that transactions are completed within specified timeframes and to the required quality levels

  • Protect Customers and Aviva by ensuring that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met

  • Deal with Customer complaints by knowing and following complaints processes

  • Prioritise and manage work queue to meet varying needs of Team and Customers

  • Work closely with other members of the Team and offer support as needed

  • Supporting the Team Leader in providing excellent customer service at all times. 

  • You will also be responsible for liaising with other internal departments in dealing with ongoing queries.

Skills & Experience required

  • Strong interpersonal and customer skills

  • Attention to detail and an aptitude for numeracy is particularly desirable

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Excellent team player 

  • Pension / A(M)RF / Annuity administration experience

  • Experience of L400 / PAXUS, Service Monitor / LGW or similar mainframes and CRM systems is ideal but full training will be given if you have experience of other systems

  • Full / part qualified QFA preferable but not essential

  • Good organisation, problems solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to effectively prioritise workloads and work to critical deadlines
