Purpose of this role:

CHI’s ICT Programme for the new children’s hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands on PMO Manager, and is comprised of the following programmes and work streams including:

  • EHR & Clinical Systems: Implementing an Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) and integrating with existing clinical systems
  • Corporate & Non-Clinical Systems: Financial, Human Resources and Facilities Management Systems
  • Infrastructure: Deployment of technology to support the above work streams in addition to technology solutions which enhance workflow or the patient experience
  • Programme Delivery: Supporting and managing the integrated ICT programme plan, and designing and delivering change, communications, training and benefits management

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide programme delivery & PMO Support to a portfolio of complex projects
  • Co-ordinate and manage ICT project support staff 
  • Ensure PMO processes are being applied in line with PMO standards
  • Manage the overall schedule, refining and maintaining the integrated ICT programme plan
  • Report on project and progress statues including milestones
  • Quality assure project risks and issues ensuring quality documentation and oversight
  • Prepare key project documents to support governance and approvals
  • Support financial governance and activities
  • Ensure coherence across the programme by coordinating and supporting the programme and project managers
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of project tools
  • With support of the project officers, oversee the day-to-day office management for the ICT programme

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant 3rd level degree/post-graduate qualification in Management, Programme/Project Management, Health Management, Information Technology Management, Clinical/Medical, or related fields.
  • 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar and relevant role.
  • Or
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar and relevant role.
