An exciting opportunity has opened within Aviva for a Premium Administrator to join our team! We are looking for someone with a few years’ experience within customer service who can work in a team. This role does provide on the job training, so we are open to a graduate.

You will primarily be dealing with; Daily EFTS, Bank Accounts, Mailboxes, and Internal Queries from the contact team. There is also an opportunity to cross train on all systems within this role.

Aviva uses “smart-working”, and you can be based anywhere commutable to our office in Cherrywood, Dublin.


  • To gradually learn the various daily administration tasks and deliver excellent service to our customers, both in terms of turnaround time and accuracy.

  • To support our Offshore team in helping Premiums deliver excellent service.

  • To maintain a strong risk and control focus, logging and seeing through to completion (on time) any errors or complaints, looking for the real root causes and identifying corrective actions to reduce likelihood of a repeat.

  • To support the Team Leader / others as required in handling urgent or more complex cases.

  • Completing daily tasks each day and ensuring confirmation sent to other CE teams/Sales each day.

  • Most activities have a 48-hour turnaround time (yesterday’s monies/emails processed today) and there are regularly more urgent cases that require immediate attention.

  • Booking tin time to process monthly or other less frequent activities to ensure these are also completed, e.g., bank reconciliation queries, monthly jobs.

  • High quality and accuracy, learning from any mistakes quickly.

  • Strong control of Risk environment (relevant Controls, Issues, Risk Events, Errors and Complaints).

Skills and Experience: 

  • Strong customer focus, desire to deliver excellent service (and ideally demonstration of previous successes in this area). Comfortable on the phone, good listener.

  • High attention to detail and able to take on training of new processes quickly.

  • Strong collaborative style, as will need to work closely with a range of other team members onshore and offshore and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to question current processes and suggest improvements to benefit our customers and improve efficiency.

  • Knowledge of Life and Pension products an advantage.
