  • The primary focus of this role is to lead and support to projects on the design or process modifications of medical devices post market release, ensuring that device quality and compliance are maintained. This role reports to the Senior Sustaining Engineer.

The Role

  • Lead and support engineering projects including Design and Manufacturing projects related to post market products.
  • Work closely with R&D, providing engineering input from a process engineering perspective.
  • Lead and support CAPA projects from Design and Manufacturing to ensure the continued compliance and quality of released products. Track and manage CAPA projects from root cause analysis stage to evaluation stage.
  • Work on projects aiming to increase cost and yield efficiencies for manufactured products.
  • Offer technical expertise to Regulatory Affairs and Post Market Surveillance teams as needed.

Requirements

  • 3rd level qualification in a discipline such as Manufacturing Engineering or Design Engineering.
  • Process/ Manufacturing Engineering experience.
  • Experience in supporting (ideally, leading) projects.
  • Highly regulated industry background –  ideally medical device industry, with knowledge of industry standards (ISO13485/FDA practices, GMP, etc.). Open to applicants from other highly regulated industries (e.g. automotive, aerospace, cosmetic etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team oriented attitude.
