Description:

Osborne Tech & Eng. Division is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join an innovative and progressive Company organisation in Cork.  Responsibilities 

  • Being a key member of our Customer Engineering Support (CES) Team, you will manage the design, execution and close out of industrial and medical gas storage and generation equipment installation projects at Company Site and customer sites
  • Managing projects ranging in value from €5k to €1m+ spread across multiple sites in Ireland (North and South), both at customer premises and company other sites
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of CES engineering processes in order to meet efficiency improvement targets
  • You will also provide technical support to our company Sales personnel and customers
  • Travelling regularly throughout Ireland and occasionally overseas, communicating directly with our customers
  • Working alone and in small teams to achieve results

Requirements

  • A strong team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office and are familiar with ISO 9001
  • Further you hold a full driving license and are prepared to travel regularly throughout Ireland and occasionally overseas
  • You are fluent in English, have strong problem solving and innovation skills and can effectively influence and communicate with customers
  • You have considerable post graduate experience in a project engineering role, ideally with package equipment and pipework installation, at least some of which are within the pharma/biomedical/biopharma sectors
  • Holding a 3rd level degree in either Mechanical, Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering would be a distinct advantage
  • You are a strong problem solver and innovator and can effectively influence and communicate with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues
  • You have a focused and flexible approach to managing key priorities and driving successful outcomes
