About Your New Job

  • As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will oversee the creation of electronic designs from concept to completion.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for external electrical medical equipment design for new product development, sustaining engineering, and value enhancement initiatives.
  • You will analyze and evaluate technical reports and other information in order to give electronic component and design approach suggestions.
  • Interact with peers/cross-functional groups and analyze actions to enhance workflow and work processes on a continuous basis to improve process and work methodologies.
  • Maintain compliance with the Quality Policy and all other established quality processes and procedures in all actions, demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
  • Provide technical help to technology and product development teams.

What Skills You Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required
  • At least 5 years of experience in the medical device business or another regulated industry
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB is essential
  • Working knowledge of international standards like IEC 60601 and IEC 61000
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Expertise in electronic design, including electronic simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout
  • Lab abilities and experience with electronic design debugging, prototyping, and general test equipment setup
  • Designing to fix and reduce EMC concerns is a plus
  • Principles of adherence and comprehension of the requirement (product specifications, etc.)
  • Previous experience collaborating with third-party vendors
