Your New Job:
Initially offered as a 14 month contract, this busy team might have longer term opportunities. If you become permanent, you can expect to enjoy a rapid career development path as this company progress their Accountants to the next level on a 3 year cycle.
Part of the EMEA Accounting team, your broad and diverse job will include assisting in the monthly close process, preparation and reporting of monthly financial reports, annual financial statements under IFRS and any other internal or external reports required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. You will also assist in the co-ordination of the daily workflow of the accounting team including the completion of detailed account analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts. And you will develop new and streamline existing processes and systems as required to ensure more efficient delivery of value add information to both internal and external stakeholders.
As a Senior Accountant, you will also oversee the outsourced AP function, by managing, monitoring & reviewing the performance of he 3rd party AP service provider, as acting as subject matter expert for AP in the organisation, dealing with and resolving any escalated & business-complex queries.
Is this job for you?
If you are a recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with an audit background, and 0 – 5 years’ experience in financial accounting or GL activities for an international organisation (either through your multinational client base in practice or directly from industry) we would like to talk to you. Exposure to Shared Service Centre environment and working knowledge of a major ERP System (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable but not necessary. Newly qualified accountants from Big 4 or Top 10 practice will be highly regarded for this job.
