You will initially join the R&D Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst for a period of approximately 9 months, before moving into the FP&A Team that supports 9 manufacturing units, thus offering you outstanding personal development within a very short period of time.
Hybrid Working Model: This job offers a 3 days onsite, 2 days work-from-home model, which may suit candidates travelling from Co Clare, Co Mayo, County Westmeath, Co Roscommon as well as all parts of Galway.
About your new job:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will become part of the site’s wider finance team of ~25 top caliber professionals that support 9 business units within manufacturing and R&D in this highly complex and prestigious blue chip organisation.
You will prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as supporting the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and 3 year strategic planning processes. You will analyse significant variances and work with R&D & Manufacturing teams to investigate reasons and solutions, while ensuring compliance with SOX, GAAP and Corporate Policy. You will be given full autonomy to work directly with Manufacturing & R&D Engineers and Managers, Tax and Finance Teams, and Big 4 advisors to successfully deliver your financial analysis & results.
As a Senior Financial Analyst for their R&D division of ~350 staff, you will partner with the R&D Finance Manager to manage all analysis required for this function. Core to your role will be the management of the company’s significant R&D Tax Credits claims and R&D Grant applications, while also acting as the “go-to” finance expert for the R&D Division.
When you move to their FP&A team, you will be working with 5-6 Senior FP&A Analysts that provides functional support to HR, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities and Maintenance. Becoming the Finance Business Partner to one of these functions, you will provide business support on all finance matters & queries arising from the assigned function.
And finally, you will participate in and, at times, lead projects in process development, systems upgrades, and multi-site continuous improvement initiatives.
