The Senior Strategic Capital Analyst Role will be part of the Factory Capital team and will provide Finance support to the start-up and the existing factories. The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Supporting closing the books, forecasting and long term affordability analyses.
Independently and proactively completing analyses on financial information and developing solutions to complex problems.
Active participation in global teams driving strategic and process improvements.
Benchmark forecasts against affordability targets and other sites. Analyse, identify, and influence cost reduction opportunities – across near and long term.
Partner with operations and other Finance groups on what-if analyses – modelling complex manufacturing scenarios, quantifying, and highlighting financial impacts to senior management, and driving coordination between multiple groups.
Completing WIF and ROI analysis with a strategic lens on capital affordability.
Guiding and coaching junior members of the team.
Plans and schedules own work to ensure the timely completion of interrelated to independent tasks and projects with very limited direction.
Key player in global forums, leading cash and time saving initiatives.
Strong business partnership and influencing skills are essential within Finance and with Operations partners, including proactive liaison across multiple groups and geographically disperse teams.
Action Orientation – Pursues work with energy, drive, and a bias for action while maintaining focus and composure. Ability to recognize opportunities and take a leadership role in driving process improvements and cost reduction within the factory and global teams is essential.

Customer Focus: Understands customer’s critical agenda and proactively contributes to making it happen. Responds rapidly to changes in the customer’s environment and adapts internal processes as appropriate.
Managing ambiguity: Ability to work through ambiguity use critical thinking.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, with an ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of stakeholders, including Finance and Operational peers and Senior management.
The position requires thorough working knowledge of finance, accounting and business analysis. Master’s or MBA degree in Finance, Business or Accounting or related field and 6+ years of related experience.
Prior experience in a multi-national environment and financial management of capital projects are an advantage.
