This is an exciting opportunity to join the Vaccines DS team as Technical Support Lead. In this role you will lead and facilitate initiatives driving improved levels of performance within the Vaccines Operating Unit.
You are responsible for leading a team of subject matter experts delivering support to the operations team and the Vaccines DS Operating Unit. You will partner with the Shift Operations Lead and Technical Operations Lead to facilitate the day-to-day operations function, leading and implementing continuous improvement projects. You will be responsible for project portfolio manageament and provide technical support for systems including SAP, MES, PDOCs, and eQMS. You will be a Member of the Operating Unit Leadership Team and work in support of the Operating Unit Goals and Objectives

In this role:
You will be an active member of the Vaccines Leadership Team with accountability for supporting Vaccines DS project management and continuous improvement.
You will manage and maintain the business unit project portfolio.
You will lead and implement business unit Projects having clear milestones for the specific business unit. e.g. AMPS
You will support external process improvements impacting the business unit.
You will develop business unit goals and objectives in alignment with the business unit and site objectives.
You will work closely with Operations & Technical Operations teams to align strategy, goals and objectives and budgeting activities.
You will lead the business unit Cost Improvement Projects
You will support Sustainability Projects for the business unit.
You will support audit readiness, Board of health Audits, safety walks and Structured Gemba’s
You will drive for performance excellence, safety, and compliance in a multi-disciplinary team with a key focus on performance metrics.
You will play a pivotal role in engaging and communicating with key stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
You will represent the Vaccines DS team on above site network teams as required
You will be a coach to colleagues within your team who you will mentor for growth and develop talent to support our evolving business.
You will be an active leader, collaborating with your peers from across our site to help drive and improve site engagement and culture.
Ideally 5 plus years of experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing, Quality Assurance or Compliance environment.
Previous Supervision / management experience desired or demonstrated capacity to lead project teams
Experience of implementation of business improvement or operations excellence projects.
Familiarity with Change Controls, Investigations and Documentation Process in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience with key business systems (MES, PDocs, QTS, eQMS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of a regulated manufacturing operations environment
Third level Qualification in Science, Engineering or equivalent

Days based role, where support is provided for 24×7 operations
Hybrid working is possible however, there is a requirement for predominant on-site presence
You will be a member of the Operating Unit leadership team and, also a member of the extended site leadership team
