The Point of Care team specialises in the provision of near patient testing equipment to healthcare professionals within the primary and secondary care environment. This highly engaged small team of field based Training Specialists are committed to providing  customers with first class induction to the testing portfolio including blood glucose, blood gas, real time PCR COVID/ Flu testing, coagulation meters and associated software solutions.
 
 Reporting to the Ireland Core Lab and POC Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering basic to advanced education programmes across Ireland. Pivotal to your role will be your ability to excel in the art of building upon and providing excellent customer service experience through the delivery of high quality, diverse and customised training programmes in line with the patient pathway strategy.  

With a strong focus on customer satisfaction you will closely collaborate with the sales team at tender stage and post-award, thus seizing every opportunity to expand the customer relationship for the contract life time. You will influence the way the Point of Care Service is developed on site. Therefore you will have the ability to coach key stakeholders to facilitate change as part of the implementation team during new service roll-outs.
 
 

The successful candidate should be located in the Dublin/Midlands/South region. This territory will broadly reach out to  customers around Dublin, Midlands and South regions of Republic of Ireland but there may be occasions to support training in the North East, North West or Northern Ireland.

Who you are

Degree educated or equivalent you will have a proven track record delivering training sessions and ideally hold either a nursing or training qualification.  Knowledge of HSE and Primary and Secondary Care organisations is highly desirable but not essential.

You have a track record in coordinating learning experiences from early design of a service roll out to delivery & complete handover of medical solutions. Ideally, you will have gained this experience within the healthcare industry, preferably in a hospital environment.

You will need to be proactive, flexible, highly organised, self-motivated, and possess the innate ability to win hearts and minds whilst challenging the status quo. With excellent presentation and communication skills, you are a focused problem solver, able to engage at all levels with customers, and this especially during period of significant change.
